Margaret Brisley, leader of Stirling Council, former Provost and Local Councillor of Bannockburn and Eastern Villages for over forty four years, passed away peacefully on Sunday 27th October 2024, aged 79 years. 


The beloved wife of the late Billy, much loved mum to Julie and Paul, mother-in-law to Alan and Lynn, proud nana to Sarah, Gary, Hannah, Elizabeth, Lloyd and Adam, loving aunty to Joss and Cal, sister to Caroline, sister-in-law to Margaret and Jimmy and a treasured friend to all who knew her. 


The funeral service will be held on Friday 8th of November, at 11am, in Bannockburn Ladywell Church, followed by a committal in Bannockburn Cemetery. 
All family and friends are respectfully invited.
